<p>PURPOSE:To make an electromagnet apparatus thin and miniature and to make an external movable space of the apparatus unnecessary, by providing with an iron core inside a U shaped yoke and housing an armature block in cutoff sections of the yoke so that the armature block can be moved in the cutoff sections in forward and reverse directions. CONSTITUTION:An iron core 3 having a tip serving as a central magnetic pole 3a is provided inside U shaped yoke 2. Projections defining cutoff sections 4a, 5a at both ends of the yoke 2 serve as opposing magnetic poles 4b, 4c, 5b, 5c. The armature block 6 has a permanent magnet 9 with both the magnetizing sides put between respective one sides of two magnetic members 7, 8. The electromagnet block 1 and armature block 6 are united so that the magnetic members 7, 8 of the armature block 6 can be inserted in the cutoff sections 4a, 5a of the yoke 2 and the central magnetic pole 3a can be inserted in the armature block 6. Changing the exciting polarities of the coil 10 can move the armature block 6 in the cutoff sections 4a, 5a in forward and reverse directions (A and B directions).</p> |
