<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency of work for installing a window frame for e.g. a quarter window, by providing such an arrangement that a spacer having engaging projection pieces on its upper surface is disposed in a channel sash having different height flanges to engage a weather strip on an window glass pane with the spacer. CONSTITUTION:A weather strip having a groove 25 in which the peripheral edge section of a window glass pane 26 is fitted, is fitted into a spacer 18 disposed in a channel sash 14 such that an outer lip 21 on a lower outer flange 12 side is made in resilient contact with the outside of an outer panel 21. and after support lips 23, 23 are engaged with projection pieces 19, 19, an inner lip 22 is warped to override an inner flange. With this arrangement, it is possible to aim at enhancing the working efficiency and at preventing assembly errors from occurring.</p> |
