The invention relates to a luminous guide device for intensive road illumination, which can be integrated in a traffic-safe way in existing traffic furniture, in cash barriers. The luminous guide device permits a high luminance with intensive, diffuse spatial illumination to be achieved with little energy owing to the short distance from the lamp to the road surface, the dazzling effect of direct radiation being, furthermore, avoided. The bright/dark boundary is situated in the case of this illumination below the eye level of the road user, and effects better orientation, in particular in fog and driving snow. Furthermore, apart from improving the road safety, simpler maintenance and cleaning of the road lamps is facilitated. |
