To adjust the height of the lifting device of an agricultural tool (7) which is attached to the front side of a traction machine, there is provided a quadrangular frame (1) equipped with rails (2) which are provided with equally spaced bores. Double arms (4) attached to the lower part of the frame (1) are reinforced by a reinforcing girder (5), to the ends of which semi-automatic mountings (6, 8) of the agricultural tool (7) are attached. When the traction machine travels with the agricultural tool (7) raised by means of the hydraulic cylinder (9), the lifting device is secured by means of a retaining rod (15). <IMAGE>
