PURPOSE:To reduce the storage capacity of scanners sharply by adding a device number corresponding to a reception desk to a key information sent from the reception desk and storing the number-added information in each scanner in a desk information storing system for scanners. CONSTITUTION:A desk control device 25 sends key information output commands to respective reception desks successively, and when key information is received from a reception desk 26n, adds a device number corresponding to the reception desk 26n to the key information and selects an idle output lead to a scanner 24 to output the information. On the other hand, a central processor 23 reads out the information of the storage lead of the scanner 24 through a channel control device 22 at a fixed period, and when reading out the device no. of the reception desk 26n and the key information, sends a read completion signal to the desk information control device 25 and executes the processing of the reception desk 26n on the basis of the read information. Receiving the read completion signal, the device 25 stops the sending of the key information outputted to the scanner 24 and transfers the operation to other information output processing. |
