PURPOSE:To aim at preventing a yarn from being wound in a ribbon winding pattern, and from forming a high projection, by providing such an arrangement, on a diagram of a traverse stroke v.s. time, a phantom line connecting the turning points of traverse motion of the end part of a wound yarn is bent at the turning points. CONSTITUTION:A yarn wind-up bobbin is rotatably supported while a traverse guide carrying out a traverse motion in the axial direction of the bobbin, is coupled to a reversible motion member through the intermediary of a traverse rod, and therefore, the direction of motion of the reversible motion member is changed over to form a cross-wind wound yarn body. Accordingly, a phantom line C connecting the turning points P1, P2... of traverse motion of each end of the wound yarn body gives bent points at the turning points P1, P2. Since the positional variation of the yarn turning point for each stroke becomes larger so that the distance of the turning point adjacent to one end of the yarn wound body, measured in the axial direction of the yarn wound body, is longer than 25% of the distance between the outer end position A of the traverse turning point in the vicinity of the turning point and the innermost end position B of the traverse turning point, the approaching of the yarn for each stroke is prevented, thereby it is possible to avoid winding the yarn in a ribbon winding pattern. |
