The invention relates to a bracing and aligning system, in particular for a concrete shuttering composed of panels, which is supported on a free gib and cotter (1) which engages in corresponding eyelets in profiles resting one against the other. Hammer blows in the direction (1a) on the gib and cotter (1) gives rise to movement closer together and fixing owing to the wedging action between the surfaces (2a-3) of the gib and cotter itself on the profiles provided with eyelets, while alignment between the profiles takes place at the same time in a plane, located orthogonally with respect to the first one, and is caused by the wedge-shaped progression of the surfaces of the eyelets on which the side surfaces (2c) of the gib and cotter (1) itself act. <IMAGE>
