The hollow section running track element of a pallet circulating transport system is designed according to the invention as a hollow section rod having reception grooves which are arranged laterally, extend in the longitudinal direction of the said rod and are used to fasten devices, supports and the like. Furthermore, a centring strip extends in a continuous manner on both sides of the hollow section and has an edge which points outwards and which facilitates the mutual alignment of hollow section running track elements which are adjacent to one another.
