PURPOSE:To manufacture a steel plate of good surface without ridging at low cost by performing a hot rolling stage under the specified condition at the manufacture of a non-orientation silicon steel plate as an iron core for electrical appliance. CONSTITUTION:A slab for a non-orientation Si steel plate contg. <0.02% C, 1.5-4.0% Si, <1.0% Al is heated within the range of 1,150-1,250 deg.C for the first hot rough rolling at <30% rolling draft. Therefore, the second hot finished rolling is performed after more than 1min and cold-rolled after coiled and annealed and the last finished annealing is performed. Thus, the non-orientation silicon steel plate as an iron core for electrical appliance, such as a motor, transformer and the like can be obtained without generating crinkling surface faults called ridging on the surface of the steel plate after cold rolling. |
