PURPOSE:To prevent an exciting current from varying due to the variation in the output of a gap sensor in the gap of rails at the seam of rails by providing calculating means for calculating to cancel the outputs of two gap sensors disposed above and below the rails. CONSTITUTION:Gap sensors 5a, 5b are mounted symmetrically with respect to iron rails 4 above and below rails 4, the output terminal of the sensor 5a is connected with the inverting input terminal 12 of an operational amplifier 10, and the output terminal of the sensor 5b is connected with the noninverting input terminal 11 of the amplifier 10. A controller 8 controls the current of a coil 2 in response to the outputs of an acceleration sensor 6, the amplifier 10 and a shunt 7 for detecting the current of the coil 2. Thus, even if a gap exists in the seam of the rails, the variations in the outputs of the sensors are cancelled each other to eliminate the change in the exciting current of a levitating core when passing the gap of the seam of the rails, thereby reducing the swinging of a train body. |
