PURPOSE:To enable the automatic setting of paper without damaging the holding shaft of a pinch roller even if said shaft is impinged to the shaking mechanism of a color ink ribbon, by attracting the pinch roller contacted with a platen under pressure by a plunger magnet by interposing a buffer member such as a coil spring. CONSTITUTION:One end part of a pinch roller arm 14b is engaged with a plunger magnet performing access operations as shown by the arrow F-G in a freely revolvable manner through an engagement metal fitting 38 provided with a slit 38a and a coil spring 39. when the shaking mechanism of an ink ribbon 29 is operated and revolved to the direction shown by the arrow M to bring an arm 30 to the state 30' shown by the two-dot broken line, a pinch roller 4 revolves by a distance corresponding to the gap with a frame 30, when revolved to the direction shown by the arrow H, to be impinged to the frame 30. In this case, the plunger magnet 16 succeeds attraction but, because attraction is performed through the coil spring 39, the coil spring 39 extends to absorb impact force and a problem such as damage is not generated. |
