PURPOSE:To cause the titled device to operate stably even under inferior transmission line conditions, by finding the next phase controlling direction from the exclusive 'OR' of a signal indicating the changing direction of a correlating output and another signal indicating the current controlling direction and controlling the phase of a clock generated by means of an oscillator. CONSTITUTION:The product 100 of an input spectrum signal 150 and the output of a false random series generator 110 is taken and a negative signal is changed to a positive signal 153 by performing full-wave rectification on an input correlating signal obtained by passing the output signal 151 of the multiplication through an LPF 101. The signal 153 is subjected to peak position detection 103 and the output 154 is sent to a phase controlling circuit 107. Moreover, the signal 153 is sent to a difference circuit 104 where the difference between the previous and current phase controlling conditions is taken and the exclusive 'OR' 105 of the difference and the logical signal indicating the direction of the previous phase control is taken, and thus, the next phase controlling direction of the signal 154 is determined. Therefore, the oscillating output of an oscillator 108 is phase-converted by a phase converter 109 and the converted signal is supplied to the false random series generator 110 as a clock pulse, and then, the signal generated by the generator 110 is multiplied 108 by the signal 150. |
