A stationary upright-positioning device for installation in motorcycles for positioning upright a motorcycle when not in use. It has two hydraulic cylinders (1, 9), by which piston rods (7, 15) with support faces (8, 16) attached thereto can be extended and retracted by means of a hydraulic system which is mainly electrically controlled. The extended piston rods (7, 15) with the support faces (8, 16) attached thereto serve directly as support stands, the support faces (8, 16) being provided with a non-slip, profiled covering. When it is not possible to use the electrical system of the motorcycle, the stationary upright-positioning device can also be actuated manually. <IMAGE>
