GAVEXATE MESYLATE PREPARATION

摘要

PURPOSE:The title preparation that is obtained by adding cyclodextrin to gebexate mesylate, thus decreasing irritation to tissues and blood cells and having increased stability in aqueous solution thereby being used as a protease inhibitor. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is obtained by combining gabexate mesylate [chemical nama: 4-(6-guanidinohexanoyloxy)benzoic acid ethul ester methanesulfonate salt] with cyclodextrin. The ratio of the cyclodextrin to gabexate mesylate is preferably 1.0 or higher. The addition of cyckodextrin can improved local distrubance by gabexate mesylate and the stability of the preparation in the presence of water. The preparation can be produced by kneading gebexate mesylate together with cyclodextrin and freeze-drying the mixture.
