PURPOSE:To obtain a water-cooled thyristor valve having high reliability by interposing a header tank between a valve water pipe and a module when circulatig coolant to modules of a thyristor valve. CONSTITUTION:A thyristor valve 1 is composed by insulating by a porcelain 18 between modules 11 and stacking a plurality of modules 11 by a joint 17. Pipe water pipes 19A, 19B of insulator are provided at both ends of the module 11, a heat exchanger 22, an ion exchanger 23, and a pump 24 are provided, coolant 25 is circulated to cool the valve 1. In this case, a header tank 35 for distributing the coolant 25 to the modules 11 is provided in each module 11, and coolant 25 is fed and exhausted through the tank. Thus, the pressure loss ration of the modules 11 to the tank 36 increases to substantially equalize the flow rates in the respective modules 11. |
