摘要 PURPOSE:To magnify an image of an object measurement optically and to meaure its size easily without exerting any influence upon the object by magnifying the image of the object and an image of an internal scale and superposing their optical axes through a prism, and measuring the size of the magnified image. CONSTITUTION:The image of the object 9 of measurement is magnified by an image lens 3 and enters an eye A through light-angled prisms 1 and 2. The image of the internal scale 5, on the other hand, is also magnified by a lens 4 and reflected by the prism 2 at right angles to have the same optical axis with the image of the object 9 of measurement and enter the eye A through the prism 1. In this case, the magnified images of the object 9 and internal scale 5 which enter the eye A are put in focus at the same time by adjusting the interval l1 between the object 9 and lens 3 and the interval l2 of the internal scale 5 and the lens 4 respectively, and are seen one over another, thereby magnifying the images and measuring the size of the object. The internal scale 5 is structured by sticking a black material 11 where light is not passed except on the scale part of the transparent body 10.
