<p>Prepn. of a water-soluble, solid state dispersion of chlorthalidone, having the formula (I), comprises forming a soln. of a water-soluble, pharmaceutically acceptable, polymeric carrier in a 1-4C alkanol, dissolving (I) in this soln. and evaporating the alkanol. The carrier is used in an amt. sufficient to suppress the reaction of (I) with the alkanol to form an alkyl ether.</p> |
