PURPOSE:To make it possible to allow a user to freely perform the color indication of a default character displayed on a color CRT and the indication of a background in graphic printing, by providing a default color indication means for indicating the color of the default character and a background color indication means for indicating the color of the background in graphic printing. CONSTITUTION:When printing is performed to a color printer 2, a default color indication means 41 for indicating the color of the default character displayed on a color CRT1 and a background color indication means 42 for indicating the color of a background in graphic printing are provided and a color control circuit 3 alters the signal showing a printing color among the printing data outputted to the color printer 2 corresponding to the signals from said means. By this method, the color printer 2 prints the default character or graphic background on the basis of the color indicated from a keyboard 4. |
