The agent consists of a phosphorus-containing reducing agent in the form of a powder. For use, 2 1/2 grammes of this powder are dissolved in one litre of cold water and the solution is applied to the tree or to the soil around the tree. The harmful solid substance, which consists of calcium carbonate, nitrogen, potassium and phosphate, is dissolved, converted, and made into humus in the manner of guano, so that the fresh nutrient solution can be absorbed by the minute capillaries in the root tips. The tree is thus supplied with fresh nutrients and recovers.
