1. A silicone rubber mixture suitable for application in endovascular and general surgery and advantageously serving as a contrast medium in the roentgenography, characterized in that it consists of a linear polysiloxane of low viscosity, i.e. a dialkyl-, alkylaryl, alkenylalkyl- or diarylpolysiloxane having as reactive end-groups hydroxyl, alkoxy acyloxy or amino groups, a cyclic di-lower-alkyl-polysiloxane having low viscosity and/or a siliceous-organic or non-metallic iodiferous organic radiopaque medium being harmless to the human organism, and, optionally, a methylsilicone, the mixture having a viscosity of from 10 to 100 mPas. |
