PURPOSE:To obtain a titled welding machine that makes a torch follow up the groove part automatically and exactly by finding the center position of the groove ahead of a weld zone by a welding torch by detection of generated leakage flux by a magnetic sensor, storing the position and calculating the delay of arrival of the welding torch. CONSTITUTION:The center A of groove 13 of the weld zone by a welding torch 8 is detected by movement 3 of magnetic sensors 1a, 1b of sensor head 2 of leakage magnetic flux at the groove part of an object 12 to be welded generated by welding. This information is collected in a CPU16, and the position is stored, and at the same time, correlated and operated 19 with a welding progress program 18. The position of delay arrival is put out in an output circuit 22, and the torch 8 is made to follow up correct position of the groove automatically by a shifting mechanism 10 and good welding is performed. |
