PURPOSE:To obtain a titled device that eliminates restriction of a torch and electrode, reduces consumption of shield gas, and to improves operation and its economical efficiency by supporting the torch on an eccentric ring in which the axis center of the ring concentric with a circular tube to be welded in deviated by specified distance, and making mutual turning welding. CONSTITUTION:When welding a rod-like circular joint pipe 22 to the body of a container 21, the axis center of a rotary ring 31 is made concentric with circular weld zone by a centering pin 26. A torch 27 is supported by an eccentric ring 32 having the axis center at a distance, radius d/2 plus an arbitrary gap G, from the center of welded body 21 of the rotary ring 31. Welding is performed by mutual turning of rings 31, 32. Regardless of the shape of the joint pipe 22, its circumference is welded nicely to allow use of ordinary torch. Restriction of electrode rod 28 is eliminated and consumption of shield gas is reduced remarkably, and operation and economical efficiency of welding is improved. |
