This is a particular shape of a tank intended to control two possibilities of biological treatment of sewage in only one of the two. The originality of the tank, by virtue of its geometry and its equipment, lies in the possibility of obtaining aerated or unaerated zones and nonhomogeneous rates of circulation as a function of the requirements. This tank consists of two incomplete circular outer parts in between which is placed a straight part, the whole being divided by a partition provided with baffles. <IMAGE>
