The anti-drip shut-off valve for containers which is described, preferably for use with tubes, achieves a reliable barrier against the unwanted and troublesome dripping of the contents of the container or tube when the withdrawal operation has ended, irrespective of the viscosity of the contents of the container or tube, achieving this by means of a valve seat with a laterally entering feeder channel and back-pressure compensation.
