PURPOSE:To make a titled magnetic head conform to a high density magnetic recording by forming a part of a magnetic core by a polycrystalline magnetic alloy and an amorphous magnetic alloy. CONSTITUTION:An adjacent part of an operating gap 20 has a polycrystalline magnetic alloy 21 of a high saturation magnetic flux density, whose thickness is 0.5mum-30mum, and by connecting this alloy 21 and an amorphous magnetic alloy 22, a magnetic circuit is constituted. As a result, recording can be executed to a recording medium having a high corecive force, too, and also even in case of a ring-like shape, the magnetic characteristic is not deteriorated, and the recording and reproducing efficiency can be raised. |
