PURPOSE:To make it possible to measure the position and shape of a body in three dimensions and to implement a highly reliable apparatus, by predicting the positions of the presences of the corresponding points on another image based on the intersection of projected straight lines, judging the correctness and error of the possible corresponding points and selecting the corresponding point. CONSTITUTION:Three-eye corresponding-point detecting module 35 receives the output of a pre-processing operation part 30. Based on feature points on a reference plane and the possible corresponding points of the feature points, projected straight lines on another image are obtained. Based on the intersection of the lines, the positions of the presences of the corresponding points on said another image are predicted. The corresponding degree of said positions and the feature points on the reference plane or said possible corresponding points is surveyed. Thus the correctness or error of the possible corresponding points is judged. Thus, a corresponding-point detection operation part, which executes the corresponding point selecting function is constituted. Therefore, the corresponding point processing algorithm becomes extremely simple without error in comparison with a two-eye stereoscopic method, and the highly reliable apparatus can be implemented. |
