PURPOSE:To facilitate the safety confirmation with a shorter distance between current electrodes, by arranging two potential electrodes to be grounded at two points sandwitching them so as to enlarge the distance between the potential electrodes in the measurement of the potentials between the two points. CONSTITUTION:A transmitter section is made up of current electrodes 11 and 12 grounded separately at a specified distance, a generator 13 and a transmitter 14 for applying power thereof 13 to the electrodes 11 and 12 and a receiver section, potential electrodes 15 and 16 so arranged to be grounded on or near the straight line connecting the current electrodes 11 and 12 sandwitching them 11 and 12 and a receiver 17. DC voltage is applied to the current electrodes 11 and 12 with the transmitter 14 to measure the potential of the potential electrodes 15 and 16 with the receiver 17. Then, the potential electrodes 15 and 16 move to points c1 and d1 on or near the straight line connecting the current electrodes 11 and 12 to measure the potential. In this manner, the electrodes moves to c2, d2...cn, dn sequentially to measure the potential between respective points. |
