PURPOSE:To detect sutomatically a faulty position by loading a diagnostic program, where a diagnostic dictionary is added, to a storage part and reporting diagnosis contents to an upper-level device at a fault detection time. CONSTITUTION:Contents of address register 1 at a time when a fault is detected by execution of a diagnostic microprogram loaded into storage part 4 are denoted as aa', and contents of hysteresis register 2 at this time are denoted as ab'. When diagnostic branch signal generation circuit 5 is operated by the micro word read out from address aa' of storage part 4, signal a' of register 1 and signal b' of register 2 are set to diagnostic branch register 3 as a'b'. The storage part addresses this a'b'. At this time, a faulty package and its mounting position are stored in address a'b' of storage part 4 as contents of the dictionary and are read and reported to an upper- level device. |
