PURPOSE:To reduce the saturated voltage by providing the second primary winding having a middle tap in a transformer, connecting the second primary winding in parallel with the first primary winding, and connecting the middle tap of the second primary winding with the collector of a drive transistor. CONSTITUTION:The second primary winding 20 is provided in a transformer 15, and connected in parallel with the first primary winding 18. The collector of a transistor 7 of drive stage is connected with the middle tap of the second primary winding 20. With this construction, a voltage between the saturated collector and the emitter of a control transistor 6 becomes approx. 0.3V to reduce the saturated voltage of a series regulator. |
