PURPOSE:To perform core-aligning work by tapered parts of a coupling device so as to enable its mounting work to be easily and promptly performed, by providing the core-aligning tapered parts, brought into contact with each other, in the periphery of a pawl part in driving and driven flanges. CONSTITUTION:In order to engage a driving flange 2 with a driven flange 5 by mutually aligning their axial core, it is only required to insert a tapered part 6 of the driving flange 2 into a tapered part 10 of the driven flange 5 by horizontally moving the driven flange 5 in the axial direction for the driving flange 2. In this way, both the axial cores are automatically engaged under a condition aligning a crest 3a and a root 3b in a pawl part 3 of the driving flange 2 with a root 9b and a crest 9a in a pawl part 9 of the driven flange 5 by the protruded tapered part 6 and the recessed tapered part 10. |
