PURPOSE:To pour a molten metal in a short period into casting molds and to complete the pouring before gas exerts an influence upon casting even if the plural casting molds are connected by providing a recess conforming to the shape of a casting to each mold and providing runners to connecting to the recesses and prescribed runners connecting the molten metals therein to each other. CONSTITUTION:The recess 10 having the shape conforming to the shape of the casting is provided to the casting mold 1. Horizontal runners 2 are formed in the position upper than the recess 10 in the direction intersecting orthogonally with the plane having the recess 10. The vertical runners 3 branched from the runners 2 are formed and the runners 5 communicating the bottom ends thereof and the lower part of the recess 10 are formed. The runners 6 branched from the right and left runners 3 are communicated with each other in the position upper than the recess 10 and are communicated with the runners 7, 8 communicating with the top end of the recess 10. Plural pieces of such molds 1 are connected and the many castings are cast by one time of pouring. |
