To prepare the animal feed, fat is mixed with active substances, in particular amino acids, such as methionine, vitamins, pharmaceuticals or the like to give a homogeneous mixture, the melting point of this mixture being selected in such a way that it is above the body temperature of the animals to be fed. The mixture is then processed to give particles below 50 mu m in size, and the product is fed to the animals in this form in the dry state, without emulsifiers. The feed passes through the rumen in unaltered form and is completely available to the animal in the rest of the digestive system, where it is resorbed. |
