PURPOSE:To stop an advance of a slip, and to prevent abrasion and burning of a pinch roll by reducing a lead rate of a set speed, and lowering a speed reference, when an output voltage of a tension controller has been saturated. CONSTITUTION:A saturation detector 21 reduces a speed reference of a pinch roll by lowering or cutting a lead rate alpha which has been set by a lead rate setting device 13 through a constant converter 20, when a saturation of an output D of a tension controller 19 is detected. In this way, a slip generated between a rolling material and the pinch roll is prevented. |
