PURPOSE:To make a timer function easier to use by providing a protecting circuit which carries on time measurement even when a rotary switch is operated during timer operation to change displays and eliminating a failure due to misoperation. CONSTITUTION:A system control means 3 receives an input signal from a timer time selecting means 8 and displays timer time coincident with the signal on a display means 5 through a display control means 6. When a start signal is inputted from a switch means 1 in this state, the means 3 starts a measuring means 3 through a switch control means 2. Then, the timer enters an operation state and the display varies according to the measurement. When another input signal is inputted from the means 8, on the other hand, the means 3 cancels the contents that the means 5 displays and displays another timer time. The timer time which is displayed last is still measured and necessary data, etc., are stored in a memory means 9. Therefore, the time which is measured before is held and its measurement is taken continuously. When, however, the start signal is inputted from the means 1, the means 4 interrupts the operation and starts taking a measurement being displayed currently. |
