PURPOSE:To prevent effectively toner in the developer container from sticking without generating oscillations nor noises harmful to a recording device by providing an oscillatory agitating member in the developer container and oscillating this agitating member magnetically by a rotary magnet. CONSTITUTION:A toner support plate 6 as the agitator member is one thin flexible plate made of a magnetic material or plate member coupled through a hinge, etc., in an oscillatory state, and its front end part or the whole body is made of a magnetic material; When toner more than a specified amount is in th container, the plate is positioned by gravitation as shown by a dashed line and contacts the internal surface of an oblique surface part 1a. When the toner is consumed and its weight decreases, the toner support plate 6 is attracted with the magneic force of a magnet roll 3 and raised, and only a little toner is left on the toner support plate 6. Consequently, its lower end part reaches a position closest to the magnet roll 3, i.e. position shown by a solid line. When the magnet roll 3 is in rotary motion in this state, the toner support plate 6 vibrates finely. Therefore, development of a residue due to toner sticking is prevented. |
