PURPOSE:To improve rigidity of a lug part and to enables a wear amount to be uniformized throughout the whole width of a tread, by a method wherein the number of lateral grooves in the side of a tread is decreased over that in the side of the tread positioned inside a car body. CONSTITUTION:A tread part T is partitioned into a rib-shaped central part CT of a tyre and sides ST on both sides of the central part by means of 2 longitudinal grooves G1 and G2. In which case, a peripheral distance L1 of a lug part 3 at a side ST1 on the right side is decreased over a peripheral distance L2 of a lug part 4 at a side ST2 on the left side, and thus, the number of lateral grooves 1 in the side ST1 on the right side and throughout the one full periphery of a tyre is increased over the number of lateral grooves 2 in the side ST2 on the left side throughout the one full periphery of the tyre. Mounting of a tyre to a car body is such that the left side of a tread part is positioned outside the car body. |
