PURPOSE:To flexibly deal with changes in a system by simply changing the content of the arithmetic section at every terminal, by automatically adjusting the control of each apparatus by means of the terminals equipped with the arithmetic sections. CONSTITUTION:When a scan controlling section 45 scans facility instruments under its control and stores information regarding their states and measurement (on/off, open/close, and measured values) and alarm information in a standard buffer 42 at a terminal 4, an arithmetic section 43 finds the state and measurement information and alarm information of each group from these information and stores the found results in an expansion buffer 44. When a host computer 3 sends a control command to group composed of plural facility instruments to the terminal 4, a transmission controlling section 41 stores the command in the expansion buffer 44 and the arithmetic section 43 implements control commands to each facility instrument and stores them in the standard buffer 42 at the terminal 4. When the control commands to each facility instrument are stored in the standard buffer 42, the scan controlling section 45 controls corresponding facility instruments in accordance with the control commands. |
