PURPOSE:To improve a reflection factor to red light ever so better as well as to secure such a fluorescent lamp as being improved in various characteristics, by applying red pigment particles to the surface of a red light emitting phosphor. CONSTITUTION:Fe2O3 red pigment particles of 0.2wt% to (Y and Eu)2O3 of a red light emitting phosphor is suspended in an acrylic emulsion solution and then the red light emitting phosphor is thrown thereinto. After sufficient stirring, when this emulsion solution is filtered and dried up, the red light emitting phosphor with a red pigment is secured. With this phosphor, a fluorescent lamp is produced in an ordinary process. Since this fluorescent lamp is covered with the red pigment, a reflection factor to red light is well improved, so that it is excellent in reproducibility for red color. |
