摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To improve reliability of an on-vehicle combustion device, by applying a fine quantity of electric power incident upon a filter at every fixed interval while coupling an incident wave and reflective wave detecting antenna and converter with a part of the microwave feed path. CONSTITUTION:A magnetron 5 is driven at every fixed interval by an output signal from a control device 10, applying electric power, in a fine level not heating a fine particle to a red-hot state, incident upon a filter 3. While an incident wave and a reflective wave detecting antenna 8, 9, being provided in a part of the microwave feed path 7, detects voltage, causing an arithmetic circuit to calculate standing wave voltage ratio to be compared with a lower limit value previously stored in the control device 10, and if a calculated value is larger than the lower limit value, the filter with a fine particle adhering in a small quantity is decided, and driving of the magnetron 5 is stopped till the next detecting time. When the calculated value is smaller than the lower limit value, the magnetron 5 whose output is increased, regenerates the filter by heating the fine particle of carbon, adhering to the filter 3, to a red-hot state.</p>
