PURPOSE:To contrive to interlock smoothly and lightly the operation of gas jetting and igniting by a method wherein the weight of a piezoelectric ignitor is utilized as a load force of a gas lever, the working force of a burner and the working force of a piezoelectric ignitor are operated individually. CONSTITUTION:A piezoelectric ignitor A and a gas burner B are arranged in parallel at right and left position in a lighter main body. A conductive operating piece 5 for operating a gas lever 7 is protruded on a lower part cylindrical body 2 which is continuously connected to the piezoelectric ignitor upper operating cylinder 1 by a return spring 12, and engaged with the gas lever 7, a clearance part 6 is provided under a lower cylinder body 2 for the descending space of the cylinder body 2. The piezoeletric ignitor A is vertically hung down while being supported by the gas lever 7, the piezoelectric ignitor A and the gas burner B are operated in series by the pushing down of an operating cylinder 1. The lower cylinder body 2 is moved down by the initial operation within the range of a loading force. After the gas jetting by the operation of the gas lever 7, the igniting operation is continued by the loading force of the igniting device acted to the operating cylinder 1, accordingly, the gas jetting and ingiting is performed sequentially, further, the ingniting operation is made lightly and the interlocking operation is made smoothly. |
