PURPOSE:To permit the automatic display device to display its position on the sea automatically by switching and receiving radio waves from plural radio beacon stations and a radio broadcasting station. CONSTITUTION:The device consists of an azimuth detection part 1, position information storage part 2, position calculation part 3, and map image display part 4. Then, a receiver controller 12 sweeps the reception frequency of a receiver 11 in predetermined order to receive radio waves from plural radio beacon stations successively. Then, a CPU31 calculates its position on the basis of map information, beacon station information, etc., stored in a storage device 30 and a beacon code and an azimuth stored in a position information storage part 20, and displays its track on a map displayed on the cathode-ray tube or liquid crystal of the display device 40. |
