A vehicle with a body for loading and unloading and transporting prefabricated parts of buildings, in particular prefabricated reinforced concrete garages, has, on a frame which can be lifted out with supports, a boom which can be moved in with a rearward arm through an end-side opening of the building and connected to the building. The arm of the boom is of multi-component construction and is pivoted up and down about an essentially horizontal axle by means of at least one working cylinder, the said axle being mounted in a carriage which is arranged so as to be displaceable in a guide frame arranged on the vehicle. For the purpose of manufacturing such a vehicle in an economical fashion, it is necessary to reduce the weight of the vehicle as far as possible, in which case the vehicle must at the same time be designed to set down the garages even on inclined terrain. For this purpose, the carriage (3) has a front counterbearing (4) and a rear counterbearing (5) which are rigidly connected to one another and guided in the guide frame (2). The horizontal pivot axle (7) of the boom (12) is arranged at a distance from the auxiliary frame (2). The boom (12) is attached to a rocker (8) which can be swivelled about the horizontal pivot axle (7). The working cylinder (9) engages on the one hand on the vehicle body and on the other hand on the rocker connected to the boom (12), the boom (12) being displaceable in the rocker (8) by means of a displacement cylinder (13). <IMAGE>
