PURPOSE:To sustain suitable emission, output power, fuel consumption, etc., by providing an abnormality detecting means for detecting an abnormality in an engine temperature detecting means, and a temperature setting means for setting the temperature of the engine when the above-mentioned abnormality is detected. CONSTITUTION:A supply amount controlling means III sets the amount of supply fuel in accordance with data detected by an engine temperature detecting means I and an intake-air amount detecting means II. An abnormality detecting means IV detects an abnormality in the engine temperature detecting means I. There is provided a temperature setting means V for setting the temperature of the engine instead of data detected by the engine temperature detecting means I when the abnormality detecting means IV detects an abnormality. With this arrangement it is possible to sustain suitable emission, output power, fuel con sumption, etc. |
