PURPOSE:To enable high-speed manufacture of arbitrary fancy twisted yarn, by shifting the comb regulating the joint position of a wadding and a float yarn by an encoder, a differential operator, a pulse motor, etc. CONSTITUTION:The float yarn 2 is joined to the wadding 1 just below the comb 5, and both yarns are passed through the false twisting spindle 6. The fixing yarn 3 reeled out of the bobbin rotating at the same speed as the hollow spindle 7 is attached to the above yarns, and passed through the second false twisting spindle 8 to obtain a fancy twisted yarn. In the above apparatus, the comb 5 is shifted by moving the supporting arm 27 of the comb 5 with the pulse motor 25, the gear 26 and the circular rack 29. The driving of the pulse motor 25 is carried out by using a rotary encoder 21 rotating synchronously with the twisting frame, counting the pulses outputted from the rotary encoder with the differential operator 22, and outputting a command based on the design of the fancy yarn synchronously with the counted signals. |
