PURPOSE:To obtain a photosensitive body having particularly large electrostatic charge capacity and high sensitivity by forming a layer-built electrophotographic sensitive body constituting an electrostatic charge generating layer by combining electron acceptors having electron affinity within a specified range with phthalocyanine (or its deriv.). CONSTITUTION:The charge generating layer 3 is formed on a conductive substrate 2 by incorporating (0.006-0.6)/1wt. ratio of electron acceptor having 1.15- 1.55eV electron affinity, such as 2,4,5,7-tetranitro fluorenone-p-chloranil, etc. to phthalocyanine or phthalocyanine deriv. 1 in a binder. Then, the charge transfer layer 4 contg. a charge transfer material is formed on the layer 3, forming thus a layer-built electrophotographic sensitive body 1. By this method, an electrophotographic sensitive body having superior electric and photoconductive characteristics, etc., particularly superior electrostatic charge capacity and sensitivity with small darkdecay rate against repetitive reproduction, is obtd. |
