Interior parts for vehicles, of synthetic material with a coating of a 2nd synthetic, are made by laying a film of a 2nd synthetic in a mould and injecting the 1st synthetic onto one side of the film in the mould. The film is of an ABS/PVC mixt. or laminate, or of a polyester/polyurethane mixt.; the 1st synthetic is a mixt. of an aromatic polycarbonate and ABS, polybutylene terephthalate or polyethylene terephthalate. During injection, the mould is held at 40-60 deq.C by cooling. A film of an ABS/PVC mixt. was laid in a series of moulds, and (A) a polycarbonate/ ABS mixt., (B) or (C) polypropylene were injected into the mould, at a mould temp. of 40-60 deg.C. Adhesion was: A, very good; B, good; C poor.
