摘要 <p>Capacitor is composed of alternate layers of ceramic material dielectric and electrode material, characterised by its prodn. by a thermal treatment with simultaneous application of pressure in a direction transverse to the plane of the layers. The electrode material is a mixture of 7-60 vol.% of high-conductivity metal, and 40-93 vol.% of a ceramic material whose sintering temp. is higher than that of the dielectric ceramic. Pref. ceramic in the electrode mixt. is an inert oxide, esp. ZrO2. Pref. metal in the electrode mix. is a noble metal, pref. Ag-Pd alloy contg. at least 30 atom % of Ag, or pure Ag. Pref. dielectric ceramic is barium titanate. The dielectric layers pref. have a max. thickness of 20 micrometers and a density of at least 90%.</p>
