<p>The composition for coating a metal article with a protective pigmented polymeric layer by redox polymerisation in situ comprises, in aqueous solution, at least one monofunctional acrylic monomer, a peroxide-type initiator and an acid or a salt which can liberate metal ions from the surface of the article, and in dispersion and/or solution, at least one pigment and an unsaturated prepolymer which is soluble or dispersible in the aqueous solution.</p> |
