Device for catheterisation of the isthmus of the uterus. The invention relates to a probe having a single balloon 10 reinforced at its centre 3 over 3 cm. The parts 2 and 4 of this balloon each measure 2 cm and can be freely inflated up to 10 cm<3> by virtue of a valve 8 situated at the base of this probe. The upper end 1 of the probe measures 1 cm in length. The balloon can be inflated by means of a thin tubing 5 set within the thickness of the device, the openings 11 and 12 allow the injected air to pass freely into the upper 2 and lower 4 parts of the balloon 10. The base of this probe consists of a non-return valve 8 reserved for the injection of the air, and a valve 7 which is mainly open in order to allow the fluids to pass through. The device according to the invention is intended in particular for performing hysterography and insufflation of the Fallopian tubes. <IMAGE>
