PURPOSE:To use the band over the entire length and to improve the durability by stretching each band in the blade while sequentially separating by predetermined distance in lateral direction while profiling the cutter angle of work such as crystal material in accordance to the arranging order. CONSTITUTION:Each band 10 in a blade 14 formed in rhomboid is reciprocated along the surface of crystal member 16 having oblique cutter angle while applying predetermined tension in the longitudinal direction and stretching to cut the crystal member in thin round slices. Since each band 10 in the blade is shifted sequentially by predetermined distance in lateral direction while profiling the cutter angle of the crystal member 16, each band 10 can be used without loss from end to end while contacting against the work such as the crystal member 16 and the stroke under grinding can be lengthened without lengthening each band resulting in highly efficient and accurate grinding of oblique cutter angle member. |
